The 22nd Tbilisi International Film Festival

The 22nd Tbilisi International Film Festival will be held from December 5 to 12. The film festival will open on December 5 at 20:00 at the Amirani Cinema with Levan Koguashvili's new film - " Brighton 4th".

The closing ceremony of the festival will take place on December 11 at the Amirani Cinema, after that there will be a film screening "The Crusade" by French director and actor Louis Garrel.
 
The winners of the Georgian film competition program will be announced at the closing ceremony, the winners will be awarded the festival prize - Golden Prometheus.
 
The members of the international jury are Yael Fogiel (French producer), Andriy Khalpakhchi (director of the Kyiv International Film Festival "Molodist", Ukraine), and Christian Feigelson (film critic, sociologist, film historian, and scientist). The jury will evaluate the competition films and reveal the winners in the following nominations:

Tbilisi International Film Festival in partnership with Encounters Film Festival and Watershed, Bristol in organising “DepicT!” – a 90-second short film competition. The aim of this competition is to discover young filmmakers who are distinguished by their originality and rich imagination. The winner of the competition will travel to the Bristol Film Festival.

Depict! The competition offers a unique opportunity to introduce their work to a wider audience and to establish contact with international industry representatives - distributors and producers, as well as other directors and short film lovers.

The film festival will feature a presentation of two books by the famous Swedish director Ingmar Bergman, published by @Cézanne Publishing: " Scenes from a Marriage" and " Private Confessions". On the day of the presentation in the section "European Forum" will be shown the film "Bergman Island", by French director Mia Hansen-Løve.
 
Numerous masterclasses will be presented within the framework of the film festival. The screening of the films will be held at the Amirani Cinema and the National Archives of Georgia.

Organized by the National Film Center and in cooperation with them restored and digitized Georgian films of 1920-30 will be shown in the National Archives of Georgia.
