Tbilisi Whiskey Festival 2024 to Take Place on September 21-22

The "Tbilisi Whiskey Festival 2024" will be held on September 21-22 at Pavilion III of the Expo Georgia Exhibition Center. Organized by Whiskey Day, the festival is the first of its kind in Georgia and is set to feature both whiskey importers and local producers.

The event is managed by Vladimir Tibilashvili, a whiskey connoisseur and collector, and Elguja Karulidze, who has extensive experience in organizing whiskey festivals in Austria. The festival's main sponsor is GD Alco, with additional support from "Whiskey House," "Smugglers," and "Intrade." Local whiskey producer "Kartveli" is the exclusive partner for the event, showcasing a special 12-year-aged Georgian whiskey, Jimsher.

Visitors to the festival can enjoy whiskey tastings from all participating companies in designated tasting areas. In addition, ChiriFruit has created exclusive chocolates filled with peated whiskey for the festival, and "White Square" will be presenting new projects to guests.

Tickets for the festival are available at TKT.GE. A one-day ticket costs 65 GEL and includes a whiskey tasting glass and 5 tokens, each worth 2.5 GEL, for sampling whiskey.

The festival will also feature special performances, including Georgian-Irish dances by the state academic ensemble "Apkhazeti," Scottish folk music by "Kilt Society" from Europe, and saxophone music by Dato Davituliani. International brand ambassadors from various whiskey companies will also be in attendance, adding to the event's global appeal.
