Tbilisi International Book Fair 2020 Holds on September 22-27

Tbilisi International Book Fair 2020 will be held 22-th time in September. Tbilisi International Book Fair traditionally will be held at Expo Georgia on 22-27 September. By the organizer of the Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association, this Fair will be different from former Festivals.

Tbilisi International Book Fair is an event of big tradition organized by the Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association since 1997. Book Fair is taking place every year and it’s among the fewest cultural events in Georgia which are of huge public interest. The interest and involvement of society in the event are increasing annually. The fair continues its steady development and offers innovations to visitors.

"The festival will be held in Expo Georgia. Due to the current circumstances, the duration of the festival has been extended and the exhibition space will host its visitors for 6 days instead of 4. This is necessary to receive as many readers as possible since number of people allowed in the 11th pavilion of Expo Georgia will be limited. 

Apart from offering books of traditional form to visitors, Expo Georgia provides them with new opportunities, for example, purchasing publishing houses in the 11th pavilion; buying pre-selected books without entering the pavilion; buying books online on the website www.gpba.ge.

More than 40 publishing houses are registered to participate in the festival. Each of them offers its customers special discounts for books."
