Tbilisi Baroque Festival to Hold on November 10
With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia, as well as Tbilisi City Hall, and the Embassy of Italy in Georgia, from November 10 to December 8, 2021, Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra "Georgian Sinfonietta" will hold the seventh "Tbilisi Baroque Festival".
This year, along with the “Georgian Sinfonietta”, the festival is attended by world-renowned Georgian and foreign musicians, ensembles, and experts of early music, such as Georgian Folk Ensemble “Basiani”, Vincenzo Capezzuto (Alto, Dancer; Italy), Natalie Perez (Mezzo-soprano, France), Giorgi Aleksidze Tbilisi Contemporary Ballet, Giorgi Kuzanashvili (Theorbo, Georgia / Germany), Trio “I Bassifondi” (Italy), Simone Vallerotonda (Theorbo, Baroque guitar, Lute; Italy), Cornelia von Kerssenbrock (Conductor, Germany), The Festival Choir directed by Archil Ushveridze, and Sergey Malov (Violin, Cello da Spalla).
On November 10, The Opening Concert of the festival will be held at The Rustaveli National Small stage.
