Returning After 90 Years - The Film by Mikheil Kalatozishvili and Nutsa Gogoberidze will be Screened
On November 21st, at 19:00, the film by Mikheil Kalatozishvili and Nutsa Gogoberidze, made in 1928 will be launched in National Archive Film Theater. Organizers of the event are the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, National Film Center and National Archive of Georgia.
The film is 16 minutes long, which leans on unique documentary material and is the first independent piece of work by Mikheil Kalatozishvili. This film also represents the debut of the first female film director, Nutsa Gogoberidze in Cinema. The film is known as "Their Kingdom", but it was stored in Gosfilmofond with the different name "Paper from Biography", but this film will be the subject of the new research.
The film will be presented by head of department of culture - Nana Dolidze and Director of National Film Center - Gaga Chkheidze. Apart from film sector representatives, researchers and historians will attend the screening. After launching the film, discussion will be held, where experts in this field will express their positions, opinions about the film.
