Music Festival "Rokva" to Try to Compensate for the Damage Caused by Pandemic

Rokva Music Festival will last for 3 days this year and will focus on compensating for the damage caused by the pandemic.

As the organizer of the festival Elene Grdzelidze told "Business Partner", the festival is held in Racha, in Shovi and it is equally attractive for both local and foreign guests.

The organizer of the festival notes that if in 2020 Racha hosted up to 5,000 guests within the framework of the festival, this year this number will increase to 10,000.

Asked how profitable Rokva Festival is, Grdzelidze said that this is a case from which there is no instant profit.

"This festival is important for the local economy. The HoReCa sector has been developed on this spot, people started arranging their homes as family hotels and so on. Locals opened some cafes. I must note about a large-scale infrastructure project, within the framework of which it is already possible to get to Racha from Tbilisi in 3.5 hours, ”Grdzelidze said.

According to him, the ticket price for all three days this year is from 130 GEL to 190 GEL. 1 day ticket price ranges from 60 GEL to 100 GEL. Tickets are currently on sale online, however, a physical selling point will also be launched in the near future.

Rokva Music Festival is held in Racha every year since 2019.
