Haraki Hosts Heavenphetamine and Shoji Asami for a Night of Psychedelic Kraut Punk and Art

Haraki is set to host a unique and exciting event featuring a psychedelic kraut punk band, Heavenphetamine, and an artist, Shoji Asami.

The event is scheduled to take place on the 15th of March 2023. Doors will open at 19:30, and the performance will start at 20:00. Tickets for the event can be purchased through this link.

Heavenphetamine is a band fronted by Hiroki, with his partner Sara on drums and Yuji on guitar. The band's music is known for blending hypnotic rhythms, carefully crafted lyrics, and a rich and varied sonic palette to create a uniquely powerful melodic dance music. Heavenphetamine has already released two EPs and toured all over the world, from New Zealand to the United Kingdom. In the Summer of 2021, Hiroki and Sara moved to Georgia and developed their style, incorporating elements of techno, jazz and experimental music. They recorded a new album in Kyiv Ukraine with local musician Evgeniy Korol from December 2022 to January 2023.

Joining Heavenphetamine is Asami Shoji, an artist born in 1988 in Fukushima, Japan. Shoji holds an MFA in printmaking from Tama Art University in Tokyo. Despite not having a specific narrative, her paintings reveal various stories to the viewer. The spatial experience of painting also gives rise to a living painting in which physical sensations circulate freely. Her shows include solo exhibitions, as well as group ones. Shoji won the 2020 Young Talent Prize in the Fine Arts Division of the Goto Memorial Cultural Awards and the “FACE 2019” grand prix winner at the Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Art Awards.

Haraki's event featuring Heavenphetamine and Asami Shoji promises to be an unforgettable experience, bringing together live music and visual art. Guests can expect a dynamic and energetic performance from Heavenphetamine, which will be enhanced by Asami Shoji's beautiful and thought-provoking artwork.
