Expo Georgia Hosts New Year Book Festival in December
On December 16-18, in the 4th and 5th pavilions of "Expo Georgia", the New Year book festival will be held, organized by the Association of Georgian Book Publishers and Distributors and the Union of Tbilisi Multifunctional Libraries, with the support of Tbilisi City Hall.
The festival combines the New Year book festival established by the association and the children's book festival established in 2021 within the framework of the UNESCO project "Tbilisi - World Book Capital". Accordingly, books for both children and adults will be presented at the festival.
Almost all publishers and book distribution organizations operating in Georgia will participate in the festival, and they will offer discounts to festival guests. Special attention will be paid to the availability of children's and youth literature.
The New Year book festival includes the exhibition and sale of books, as well as children's events on the main stage of the festival and in the children's area, the exhibition and sale of New Year's handicrafts and accessories, and various entertainment activities.
On December 18, within the framework of the festival, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the children's literary competition "Nakaduli" will be held.
