Everything I Promised Myself - Exhibition to Open at Fabrika
FabrikaTbilisi and VA[A]DS ( School of Visual Arts, Architecture and Design/Free University) present the exhibition of VA[A]DS graduates, Salome Jokhadze, Anna Jibladze, and Anastasia Akhvlediani - "Everything I promised myself".
These three artists have worked together in a common space for years and know each other's works very well but it is their first collaboration.
The heavy background caused by the current circumstances, the wave of mass despair, and the vital energies that reached a state of stagnation, as well as for everyone, turned out to be a very difficult challenge for the artists. On the one hand, art seems to lose its importance and meaning, but for artists, it's very difficult and dangerous to stop their process and stuck in a place. Working in such conditions is sometimes like a mechanical process, which directed towards self-preservation, and you need strength, to find strength there is a promise, promise to yourself that you don't stop because there is no other way.
These works created by this promise and represent and reflect this period.
The exhibition is open every day from 15:00 to 19:00 till April 22nd.
