Black Sea International Art Festival Begins Tomorrow
On July 23, the "International Black Sea Art Festival" in Batumi will begin. The festival's founder, Eliso Bolkvadze, noted that the theme is diverse and that both Georgian and international performers will take part. The festival's earnings this year will go entirely toward helping Ukrainian children who have been impacted by the war.
"Batumi International Black Sea Art Festival" is the only cultural event in Georgia that has won the high patronage of UNESCO for the fifth time. It is thanks to this festival that in 2021 Batumi was included in the list of creative cities of UNESCO.
The festival is held for the ninth time this year and it will last until July 31.
Within the framework of the festival, over the years, more than 60 high-level concerts were held, in which the stars of the world stage took part.
