The Rural Development Agency continues to provide financial support for the establishment of new storage and processing enterprises under the “Processing and Storage Enterprises Co-Financing Project.” The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture released the information.
Within the framework of the state project, co-financing for new storage enterprises covers up to 30% of the total project cost, but not exceeding 350,000 GEL. The beneficiary’s share may include personal funds, agrocredit, or leasing.
The project also offers additional incentives if the enterprise is located in mountainous settlements, villages adjacent to the dividing line, or established by an agricultural cooperative. In such cases, co-financing may reach up to 40% of the total project cost, still capped at 350,000 GEL.
Since the launch of the program, the state has co-financed the creation of 270 processing and storage enterprises with a total of 126.7 million GEL, including 160 storage facilities funded with 75.7 million GEL.
Detailed information about the project is available on the Rural Development Agency’s official website: rda.gov.ge.
