Minister David Songulashvili Meets with National Agency of Mineral Resources Following Structural Transition

Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili met with Andro Aslanishvili, Head of the LEPL National Agency of Mineral Resources, along with agency staff, to discuss current operations and future plans.

The meeting follows a recent institutional change: as of June 14, 2025, the LEPL National Agency of Mineral Resources was officially transferred from the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.

During the meeting, Minister Songulashvili was briefed by the agency head on the agency’s core functions, existing challenges, and upcoming priorities.

“We are ready to support all new initiatives that will enhance the agency’s performance. Ensuring the smooth functioning of the agency, delivering high-standard services, and addressing employee needs are all priorities for us,” said Minister Songulashvili.
