Lufthansa Adds two Flights from Munich to Tbilisi

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Nikoloz Alavidze held a meeting with the Deutsche Lufthansa Vice President of Sales, Stefan Kreuzpaintner. 

“I am very glad that we had a very productive meeting with the Vice President of Lufthansa. We discussed prospects of future cooperation and further activities. We have made specific plans that will be very well implemented, which will be important for our economy, our tourist flows and the strategy that the Georgian government has chosen and is aimed at improving the well-being of the population,’ – Nikoloz Alavidze stated after the meeting.

According to the Deputy Minister, cooperation with such a large company is very important for our market. “Lufthansa has been operating in Georgia for over 14 years, it is one of the leaders of air transportation company. It is a strategic and very important partner for us. Over the years, we observe the permanent growth of both, the  tourism and the business, most of which is the company "Lufthansa", "said Nikoloz Alavidze.

Lufthansa Vice President of Sales, Stefan Kreuzpaintner stated that the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development was very productive and , where the features of the market were clearly presented and the segments that could be of interest to the company for business and tourism development.

“My visit to Georgia has three objectives: it is to set a strategy through a better understanding of the achievements, taking certain decisions through the meetings with the decision makers, and finding the potential trade partners, which is also very important,” – Stefan Kreuzpaintner said. 

Lufthansa has added two flights to Munich-Tbilisi and in total it offers 9 weekly flights to passengers in this direction. Together with morning departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays (Departure: 05:05), the second, noon flight will be available. The flight will be carried out at 15:55 by the modern Airbus A320, which will fly to Munich at 18:00. Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9:00 am is also available for flights to Munich-Tbilisi.
