Geostat: Georgia’s Trousers Exports Grow by 47% to 7.5 million USD

Exports of males’ trousers, jumpsuits and shorts have increased, Geostat, the national statistics service of Georgia, says.

In January-June 2018 the exports constituted 5.1 million USD, while the figure has risen to 7.6 million USD in January-June 2019, up 47% year on year.

According to official statistics, exports of other clothes and textile products also grow. For example, exports of T-shirts constituted 22 million USD, women coats – 2.7 million USD, bras – 2.2 million USD.
