Georgia’s Agri-Food Exports Surpass $1.1 Billion in First Eight Months of 2025

As of August 31, 2025, Georgia's agri-food exports reached $1.118 billion, marking a 3.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

The primary export products included alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, nuts, processed nuts, and blueberries. This information was released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

Exports to European Union countries totaled $113.9 million, up by $18.3 million or 19%. The growth was mainly driven by increased exports of nuts and fruit and vegetable juices. Hazelnut exports rose by $10.9 million to $33.7 million, while juice exports grew by $4.4 million to $6.1 million. Additionally, wine exports to the EU amounted to $23.6 million — $2.1 million more than during the same period in 2024.
