Georgia and Serbia Sign Trade-Economic Cooperation Document

Tbilisi has hosted the first meeting of Georgia-Serbia intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation.

Chambers of commerce and industry of Georgia and Serbia have organized the business forum as part of the mentioned commission and Georgian and Serbian businessmen have held tete-a-tete meetings.

The Georgian Party was led by Deputy Economy Minister Genadi Arveladze and the Serbian Party was led by State Secretary of Foreign Affairs Nemania Stevanovich.

After the meeting the Parties singed a joint minutes determining key directions of bilateral trade-economic cooperation.

Similar meeting was held for the first time between Georgia and Serbia. As to the business forum, it was held for the second time. The first business forum was held during the Georgian parliamentary delegation’s visit to Serbia, when LEPL Enterprise Georgia and Development Agency of Serbia signed mutual understanding memorandum.
