Drainage Channel Cleaning in Lanchkhuti to Improve Agricultural Productivity on 15 Hectares

Georgian Land Reclamation LLC is conducting cleaning works on a 2.2-kilometer-long collector and drainage network in the village of Ninoshvili, Lanchkhuti Municipality. The work includes removing trees, shrubs, and sediment from the channel.

By increasing the channel’s capacity, drainage services will be improved on 15 hectares of agricultural land, enhancing conditions for crop production in the municipality.

The cleaning works are scheduled to be completed by June 2025.

It is noteworthy that, as a result of land reclamation infrastructure projects carried out in the Guria region between 2012 and 2024, a total of 2,175 hectares of agricultural land have been successfully drained.
