Environmental protection, along with love for nature, also means protecting our health, economy, and future generations. We are striving to promote the development of a green economy and environmental education as much as possible. Accordingly, the various projects we are implementing through international cooperation cover not only improving air quality and reducing emissions but also protecting biodiversity and achieving sustainable economic benefits.
The Ministry is actively working to ensure that environmental standards fully align with the requirements defined in the Association Agreement between Georgia and the European Union, and to create all necessary conditions in the country to minimize negative environmental impacts.
Most importantly, we must always remember that environmental protection is everyone’s responsibility — the state, businesses, and every single citizen.
