Davit Songulashvili Met with the Ambassador of Italy to Georgia

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songulashvili, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Georgia, Massimiliano D’Antuono.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for future cooperation between the two countries and opportunities for strengthening trade and economic relations.

The Minister highlighted the importance of friendly relations between Georgia and Italy and noted that there is significant potential for cooperation in the fields of environmental protection and agricultural development.

The sides also reviewed opportunities for deepening collaboration and knowledge-sharing in sectoral education and winemaking.

The discussion additionally touched on the importance of exchanging experience in the development of early warning systems.

According to the Italian Ambassador, there is full readiness to engage in effective, multi-dimensional cooperation and share expertise.
