David Songulashvili: Feedback Between Farmers, Producers, and the State Is Key to Economic Growth
According to Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili, feedback between producers, farmers, and the state is crucial for improving government programs and advancing the private sector.
“It is very important for us to familiarize ourselves with all the projects implemented with state funding, to meet with entrepreneurs and farmers who benefit from state support, assess their success, and understand what additional assistance they may need to further develop their activities. This is one of the key foundations for building a complete value chain and strengthening the country's economy,” said David Songulashvili.
The Minister recently visited Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti, where he inspected enterprises and orchards established with government support and met with farmers and entrepreneurs benefiting from the Rural Development Agency’s programs.
As the Minister noted, regional meetings with producers and farmers will continue intensively. Through direct communication, the Ministry aims to gather comprehensive information about existing needs and identify how the government can best support entrepreneurs and farmers to accelerate Georgia’s economic growth.
