Construction Begins on Gudauri Water Supply: Over 22 Million GEL Allocated from State Budget

The United Water Supply Company of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure is set to commence construction on the main building, pumping station, and main pipe for Gudauri township in Kazbegi municipality.

The project, which is part of the state program "Construction by Installments" initiated by the Prime Minister of Georgia, aims to provide an alternative water supply resource for the growing number of residents and vacationers in the resort.

The deputy director of the water supply company, Nino Narozashvili, signed the agreement with the tender-winning company, "El Georgia" LLC, represented by its director, Dimitri Kupatadze. The company will receive more than 22 million GEL from the state budget for the construction works.

The project is expected to be completed by the winter season of 2025, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of quality water to the town of Gudauri. The project comes at a crucial time as the number of visitors and residents in the area continues to grow, necessitating the need for a reliable water supply.
