AE SOLAR Director General: Regulations Generate Main Challenges

There are many challenges in the renewable energy field and regulations create major obstacles in this respect, AE SOLAR director general Durbeck Patakhov told BM.GE after Enterprise Georgia hold a presentation of the 2020-2012 action plan for attracting foreign investments.

Due legislation should exist and foreign investors find this factor very important, he noted.

“There are challenges in the field of renewable energy and regulations create major obstacles. It is important that the country have due legislation so as foreign investors worldwide see real business opportunities in Georgia. We want the Economy Ministry to prepare due legislative package “, the AE SOLAR director general noted.

We remind you that the solar panels manufacturing German company AE SOLAR was unveiled in Kutaisi in 2019. The company will export its solar panels to the USA and Europe. The German-Mexican concern AE SOLAR has invested 8 million USD in the project implementation.
