4-Kilometer Drainage Channel Cleaning in Kobuleti to Improve Agricultural Output on 40 Hectares
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture’s Georgian Land Reclamation LLC is conducting cleaning works on the drainage system in Kobuleti Municipality.
In the village of Achkvistavi, collector and collection channels totaling up to 4 kilometers in length are being repaired. The works will ensure the unhindered flow of water through the channels. As a result, drainage services will improve on 40 hectares of agricultural land in the municipality, thereby increasing the potential for agricultural production.
The cleaning works, carried out under the exploitation program, are scheduled to be completed by July 2025.
