"Negative Numbers" by Uta Beria to be Screened in Germany and South Korea
Debute piece of Uta Beria, "Negative Numbers" continues to travel abroad on international film festivals.
The film is presented in the competition program of PyeongChang International Peace Film Festival, which will be held virtually on June 18-23th.
"Negative Numbers" will also have its premiere in Germany, Wiesbaden international film festival goEast. The film is nominated for Competition at the goEast Film Festival, Wiesbaden. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic forcing, goEast aims to overcome all the obstacles. Through a special hybrid solution, the gathering will bring its plentiful programme by offering online content during the original dates and shifting certain events to later on in the year.
Negative Numbers" is supported by Georgian National Film Centre, which tells the story of a juvenile detention center in Tbilisi where two ex-professional rugby players took up the challenge to help these young offenders by bringing rugby into the center. While training the young inmates, they wrote down their stories, which inspired the film.
