Wizz Air Reaches 6 Million Passengers at Kutaisi International Airport
Since Wizz Air began operations at Davit Aghmashenebeli Airport in 2012, the airline has served a record 6 million passengers. The milestone was reached when a flight from Vienna recently landed at Kutaisi International Airport, carrying Wizz Air’s 6 millionth passenger, Anna Machavariani, a 19-year-old student from Georgia.
To commemorate the occasion, Irakli Karkashadze, the General Director of the Union of Airports, presented the milestone passenger with a symbolic gift—a bronze model of Kutaisi International Airport.
Additionally, Wizz Air representatives awarded the lucky passenger a €200 voucher, which can be used for flights to any destination within the next year.
