Tsangala Wine Shop & Bar will Renew Working after the End of Pandemic
Tsangala's Wine Shop & Bar has not been functioning for several months due to the pandemic. As Oto Tabatadze, the owner of the bar mentioned with BusinessPartner, it is located on Shavteli Street, one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Tbilisi since 2015.
Tabatadze declares, that this is a wine shop and bar, where customers can purchase both wine and other alcoholic beverages. It is also possible to taste the wine on-site and reserve the table in advance.
"Our bar is different from others, since we have high-quality, non-factory produced wines, including Qvevri wines from several family wineries. We were one of the first to offer the public the type of bar, which is not oriented on industrially produced wines.", declared Tabatadze and added, that before closing, Tsangala's Wine Shop & Bar presented more than 300 types of wine and the company was cooperating with 70 wineries.
The owner of the bar also notes, that 90% of the guests were foreigner tourists, including Americans, Ukrainians, Russians, Germans, etc. According to this, working on the local segment turned out to be unprofitable, and this is the reason why they made a decision to close the bar.
The head of Tsangala's Wine Shop & Bar hopes, that when the pandemic will be ended, it will able them to open the bar since they are not paying rent because the company owns the place.
