New Refrigerator Complex Opens in Sighnaghi

Alazani agricultural cooperative has opened a new refrigerator complex in Sighnaghi.

The cooperative company has invested over GEL 1 million in the project implementation. The complex was equipped with cutting-edge technologies.

The project was implemented as part of the United Agro Project. The grant’s component amounted to GEL 600,000.

The refrigerator complex is capable to store 1,100 tons of fruit and vegetables. The company plans to supply the product to the domestic market.

The complex has employed 15 citizens.

As reported, 225 new enterprises have been arranged all over Georgia as part of the United Agro Project, including 82 new enterprises opened in the Kakheti Region.
