Kazakh Company Producing Safflower Plans to Enter Georgian Market

A Kazakh company producing safflower plans to introduce it to the Georgian market. The information is provided by the financial director Kaz-IR AGRO, Elena Stepanova on April 7th, on Georgian-Kazakh business forum.

Kaz-IR AGRO specializes in production of the cold-pressed unrefined safflower oil under «Safloria» brand name in the Kazakhstan market since 2011, as well as cultivation of safflower and cereals.

The oil is currently exported to Europe, China, and Japan.

"We want to find a distribution network, in order to supply it with the oil not in a branded way, but in large volumes, and then they will be able to bottle it and sell it on the market. This form is acceptable to us, since Georgian bread enterprises, representatives of culinary and pharmacology are interested in it.

After finding a potential partner, we will define a strategy to enter the market of oil. Safflower oil will probably be sold primarily through online sales and it will be aimed at followers of a healthy lifestyle. We think that it will be possible to bring it to eco-shops through a Georgian distribution company.", noted the CFO of Kaz-IR AGRO.
