Georgia’s First Vertical Hothouse to Launch Online Platform in January

Space Farms is the first vertical hothouse in Georgia that has successfully implemented the project.

Tusya Gharibashvili, author of the Space Farms project told Business Morning that Space Farms have managed to get adapted to the pandemic realities. “Previously, we used to serve only restaurants. Now, we supply our products to retail clients too. We also plan to launch an online platform in January and our clients will have the opportunity to order our products in digital format.

So, they will get fresh vegetables to their places from the very hothouse. Today, our hothouse covers 150 square meters and we will supply our products to 450 clients a month. Now, we primarily supply our products to Adjara Group. The involvement of young agronomists was one of the key objectives because the working process at vertical hothouse essentially differs from traditional hothouses”, Tusya Gharibashvili noted.
