Georgian Government Offers postponement of Property and Income Taxes to Tourism Linked Businesses

The government offers postponement of property and income taxes to the businesses connected to tourism till November 1 – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during the briefing.

PM presented the governmental plan for stimulation of economy amid other measures in prevention of the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.

According to Gakharia, the offer will refer to owners of hotels, restaurants, tourist agencies, transport companies and organizers of cultural and sports activities. PM said that novel coronavirus was a global challenge and public health and its affect on the economy were equally critically vital.
