Chirina to Launch Sausage Factory in Spring 2022

A company producing chicken meat products, Chirina expands the business and builds a new factory in Sartichala. The total amount of investment is $5 million.

The construction works are expected to finish at the end of the year.

"The project of expanding production is implemented partly by the company, and within the financial assistance of Enterprise Georgia, Bank of Georgia, and EBRD. In total, investment reaches $5 million.", noted Keti Vashakidze, deputy director of the company.

Chirina will soon offer its customers an assortment of sausage products. The factory will be equipped with modern technology. 

"We have communication with various manufacturers in Germany to create a modern and good product in the end. The main raw material will be chicken, but the recipe is still being worked on.", declared Keti Vashakidze.

The factory will be able to employ 30-40 people. Currently, Chirina has up to 500 employees.
