Beauty in Motion with UPWAY- Georgian Activewear Brand

''I've been working in the fitness and dance industry for over 15 years, and as my personal brand grew, many people asked me where they might get fitness and dance clothing. I decided to create my own products to represent my energy and spirit, as well as to inspire my students to make positive changes,''-said Ketevan Zazanashvili. 

Ketevan Zazanashvili is a Brand Ambassador of UPWAY and Brand Founder together with Nana Mikeladze founder of Fashion Atelier ‘Fluger’. We asked what the main message of the brand is: 

Our main motto is Beauty in Motion, which is connected to the beauty of the spirit, as well as physical beauty of any form of the body, and the motion, which is the working force of everything in the world. Combined together it gives a unique formula for self-acceptance and individual success in fitness or any other field of life. Our clothes will develop in an inclusive direction, for the integration of people with disabilities, as well as women of all shapes and forms. 

Tell us about your team.

My designer is a self-employed enthusiast Nana Mikeladze, who had a dream to make her own clothing line. With the help of her family, she created a fashion atelier from scratch in the garage of her own house. She learned to sew, design and construct the clothes from zero. Now she is a successful entrepreneur with 4 people employed at her atelier.

What’s your favorite line that you’ve worked on? 

We've only had two collections so far, spring and summer. My favorites are all the gymwear models.

Do you have any new projects coming up? 

This brand is a try out of the sports and fitness clothes development in Georgia. We are oriented to produce high quality models. It is hard to get an exceptional quality of textile. From September we want to work for the inclusive project and make outdoor and casual sportswear for people with disabilities as well as plus size models. I think this is my favorite project to work on.
