AVON Georgia HR Tamar Bezhanishvili to Head AVON Human Resources Department in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland

Tamar Bezhanishvili, AVON Georgia's HR Business Partner, was recently appointed Head of HR in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland, which is a huge success for the company and the Georgian labor market.

It should be noted that Tamar will start working remotely, and this reality and flexibility was brought to the company by the Covid pandemic. Business processes have been further refined, and Avon employees continue their operations in more than 70 countries where the brand is represented, remotely, with a flexible work schedule.

This is not the first time for AVON that a Georgian employee has been promoted to a European country and Tamar herself tells Entrepreneur about how employees achieve such success and what the company does for their career development.

"AVON attaches great importance to employee development and career growth, which is reflected in many areas of the company's work. Quite a large investment is made in education, we give employees the opportunity to undergo various trainings or courses, as well as conduct numerous seminars or workshops with our foreign colleagues at the regional level. It is the direct duty of every manager to take care of his or her employee 's career advancement and to help her select a development plan in a direction that is interesting to her, ”said Tamar Bezhanishvili.

Tamar Bezhanishvili told Enrepreneur that AVON, in general, sets an individual development plan for all potential, talented employees, after which progress is constantly monitored and readiness for promotion to the desired position is determined. As soon as a position in a company becomes vacant and the employee is ready to take a new position, an employee is automatically promoted, because due to the intensity of the training process, he or she already has enough knowledge and experience.

AVON is currently in the process of transforming its Agile strategy. This approach is already well-proven in the international market and is aimed at expanding the access of the company's employees to the full range of operational activities.
