TBC Bank Launched Trial Consumer Finance Sales Division in Uzbekistan

TBC Bank Group PLC is pleased to announce the launch of its trial consumer finance sales division in Uzbekistan.

The Bank offers financing to the consumer market in Uzbekistan to purchase consumer products, mainly in the electronics and furniture market.

TBC Bank plans to expand its sales network to 15 by the end of January next year, to reach 50 by the end of 2020.

The initiative is part of the Bank's international strategy to expand in the region and to mark a significant milestone in the Bank's market presence in Uzbekistan.

According to Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, launching consumer financing in Uzbekistan is another step forward in terms of bank expansion in the country.

He said this was preceded by the acquisition of Payme, the leading payment platform in Uzbekistan earlier this year.

Butskhrikidze said both initiatives are an integral part of the bank's digital development strategy and will provide them with important market information before launching full banking operations.
