Georgia Improves Its Position by 27 Places in the Anti-Money Laundering Index and Ranks Among the World’s Top 40 Countries

Georgia has improved its position by 27 places in the Anti-Money Laundering Index and has been ranked among the world’s top 40 countries, according to information released by the National Bank of Georgia.

With this result, Georgia is among the top twenty countries within NATO member states as well as European Union member and candidate countries.

It is noteworthy that the measures implemented by the National Bank of Georgia have had a positive impact on the country’s improved standing in the Anti-Money Laundering Index, the statement issued by the National Bank says.
