Salome Zurabishvili: Putin Made Wrong Calculations on Ukraine, Europe and Nuclear Weapons

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, declared in the French media Info France 2 that Russia is now announcing a psychological war by manipulating with nuclear weapons because it is losing the conventional war.

According to Salome Zurabishvili, Putin made miscalculations during the invasion of Ukraine, both in terms of resistance from Ukraine, as well as the capabilities of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the support of Europe.

"Nuclear threat is a psychological war. If we look at Vladimir Putin's past, we will notice that he is psychologically manipulating with the attack. He is stronger in psychological weapons than in waging a classic war.

All his calculations were wrong. His forecast on the resistance from the Ukrainian side turned out to be wrong. The calculations on the political reaction to Ukraine were wrong. There was a sense that Zelenskyy was young, inexperienced, and he would immediately give up. Putin's calculations on the EU were also wrong. And in my opinion, his prediction that a nuclear threat could intimidate Ukrainians turned out to be wrong.", noted Salome Zurabishvili.

Salome Zurabishvili is currently in France. He met with French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday.
