EBRD Appoints Giorgi Akhalkatsi as New Head of Yerevan Office

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has appointed Giorgi Akhalkatsi as the new head of the Yerevan office, replacing Dimitri Gvindadze.

Giorgi Akhalkatsi will start working at the EBRD's Yerevan office on May 1, 2022. Prior to taking up this position at the EBRD, he was a lawyer and later continued his career in the banking sector, in particular, at Société Générale.

Giorgi Akhalkatsi joined the EBRD in 2009 and held the position of Associate Director and Senior Banker.
