1,700 Anti-war Protesters Arrested in Russia

Anti-war protests broke out across Russia amidst to Russo-Ukrainian war. Protesters chanted "no to war" after Russian troops launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. 

According to various BBC sources, nearly 1,700 people have been detained during the demonstrations.

900 of the detainees are in Moscow and 400 in St. Petersburg, as well as in other cities.
