Zviad Kordzadze’s Wine Tasting Space BARBALES MARANI to Open in September
Prominent Georgian defense lawyer Zviad Kordzadze plans to open his wine-tasting space BARBALES MARANI in Old Tbilisi.
The inauguration ceremony was planned for 2020, but the pandemic thwarted these plans and BARBALES MARANI will host visitors starting September 2021. The facility will trade in various wines – Tsitska, Tsolikauri, Otskhanuri Sapere, Usakhelauri, Imeruli, Mtsvane, and Lechkhumis Tsolikauri, Khikhvi, and Krakhuna. Zviad Kordzadze also produces blackberry, pear, and apple wines.
Zviad Kordzadze produces approximately 3,000 bottles of wines at Shindisi-based winery. BARBALES MARANI has already attracted exports markets. Saperavi wine by BARBALES MARANI has already won a bronze medal at the Qvevri Wines international competition.
