Zviad Kordzadze Postpones Opening Barbale Marani; Develops Online Sales Platform

Lawyer Zviad Kordzadze has postponed the inauguration of Barbale Marani. The wine cellar was to open on Gorgasali Street in March 2021.

“In order to sell our products, we have developed an online sales platform, where Barbale Marani wines and several other exclusive products are represented, such as BODEGA INIESTA wines for Barcelona FC fans, as well as Angelina Jolie’s and Brad Pitt’s joint product – MIRAVAL ROSE. We also plan to add various souvenirs, accessories related to wines and winemaking culture.

We introduced our products in December 2020. The market demand is normal and it will increase after the Marani opens. We sell 10 wine varieties bottled in 2017, 2018, and 2019. As for 2020, we have bottled Chkhaveri wine in this year”, Zviad Kordzadze noted.

Founded in 2014, Barbale Marani is located in Shindisi, where around 3,000 bottles are produced a year. The Marani bottles such varieties as Otskhanuri Sapere, Tsitska-Tsolikauri, Usakhelouri, Khikhvi, Khvanchkara, and other ones. The company plans to grow production.

Zviad Kordzadze also produces blackberry, apple and pear wines.
