Zurich Hosts Exhibition - Georgia - 8000 Years of Winery

Ortsmuseum Hongg is a wine museum in Zurich, where visitors will be able to see the artifacts, informational illustrations, and other materials about Georgian wine culture and history.

The exhibition is organized by the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the Georgian Wine Gallery (GeoHaus GmbH) in Zurich with the support of the Embassy of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the National Wine Agency, Davit Tkemaladze, the exhibition is significant for the growth of Georgia, and the promotion of Georgian wine culture and history in Switzerland and Europe in general.

The exhibition was officially opened with a vine planting ceremony. Regular presentations-tastings and thematic meetings with wine professionals will be held during the exhibition.

აღსანიშნავია, რომ „Ortsmuseum Hongg“-ის სამუზეუმო სივრცეში დარგული ქართული ვაზის ჯიშები ჯიღაურას საკოლექციო მეურნეობიდან იყო შერჩეული.

„მუზეუმში, სადაც ექვსი თვის განმავლობაში სისტემატურად ჩატარდება ქართული ღვინისა და ვაზის პოპულარიზაციის ღონისძიებები, ადგილი დაიმკვიდრა ჯიღაურას საკოლექციო ნარგაობებიდან გადმოტანილმა რამდენიმე ჯიშმა: გორული მწვანე, რქაწითელი, შავკაპიტო, ალექსანდროული და სხვა. ქართული ვაზის ჯიშების შესახებ აქ წარმოდგენილი ინფორმაცია მნიშვნელოვნად წაადგება ქართული ღვინისა და ვაზის პოპულარიზაციას“, - აღნიშნა გარემოს დაცვისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის სამეცნერო-კვლევითი ცენტრის დირექტორმა, ლევან უჯმაჯურიძემ.

გამოფენის გახსნის ღონისძიენბაძე სტუმრებს მისასალმებელი სიტყვებით მიმართეს ღვინის ეროვნული სააგენტოს თავმჯდომარემ, ლევან მეხუზლამ, „ქართული ღვინის გალერეის“ დამფუძნებელმა, ზვიად არაბიძემ და ციურიხის ეთნომუზეუმების გაერთიანების ხელმძღვანელმა, ქრისტიან შორნომ.
