Oda Family Cellar Invests 50,000 GEL in Expanding

The family cellar "Oda", which produces natural wine from organic vineyards, plans to expand.

As Keto Ninidze, the founder of the winery with Bm.ge, said, the company is planning to build a second cellar, for which the initial investment will be 50,000 GEL.

"We are setting up the second wine cellar in Samegrelo, which will be focused on growing vineyards of rare varieties of Samegrelo, Guria, Adjara-Abkhazia, Racha-Lechkhumi and making wines from them. We have also purchased a particular part of the land; in this case, we will have a relatively large production.

We will throw the first pitchers this year and we are going to plant vineyards next year. We were going to plant a vineyard soon, but due to terrible climatic conditions, the seedlings in the nursery spoiled and we were delayed," he says, adding that the initial investment of the mentioned project is 50,000 GEL and the production will be mainly focused on export.

In the family cellar "Oda" they currently produce up to 700 bottles of natural wine, 90% of which are exported.
