First Georgian Wine Cellar Opened in Brazil

The first Georgian winery "Lorangi" was opened in the Brazilian state of Goias with the support of the Embassy of Georgia.

According to the agency, the invited guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Georgian tradition of putting wine in a pitcher and taste the wine made by the old Georgian traditional method from Kvevri. Georgian wines and wineries were also presented.

At the same time, a memorial wall with the image of the Georgian flag was opened in honor of Georgia, Georgian culture and traditions.

The event was attended by representatives of the embassy, ​​journalists, representatives of travel agencies, the President of the Brazilian Sommelier Association, as well as people interested in Georgia and Georgian culture.
