Within the Economic Zone, inspections of 22 companies resulted in 51 samples, with violations detected in 6 samples from 3 companies.

During the same period, 10 state supervision inspections were conducted in 4 companies, focusing on compliance of wine production processes with Georgian legislation. Of the 5 samples taken, no violations were found.

Regarding the domestic market, 6 inspections were conducted, covering 101 samples from 56 companies. Violations were identified in 49 samples from 33 companies.

Notably, compared to the same period last year, the number of violations has decreased, indicating the effectiveness of the wine quality control system.

Relevant services of the National Wine Agency continue ongoing monitoring of alcoholic beverage quality to ensure that Georgian wine fully complies with international standards, remains competitive, and sees growing demand in global markets.
