22 Georgian Wine Producers Participated in the International Wine Exhibition in Warsaw
22 Polish wine producers participated in the international exhibition Ferment (Warsaw Wine Experience 2019) in the Polish capital Warsaw.
Ilia Darchiashvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Poland attended the exhibition.
“The presentation of Georgian wines in Poland is important as it is one of the strategic exporters of Georgian wines and is one of the top five exporting countries. By 9 months of 2019, about 3 million bottles of wine are exported from Georgia to Poland, which is 18 percent more than in 2018, ” said at the National Wine Agency.
The Warsaw Wine Experience was held for the first time and was attended by around 150 winemakers from around the world. Georgian wine is highly favored in Poland and consequently the visitors of the exhibition were very interested in the products produced by Georgian companies.
