Welcome to Georgia! The Fifth Anniversary of the National Tourism Awards

December 6, 2019, "Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metekhi Palace" will host the fifth anniversary of the most important event in the Georgian tourism and hospitality industry Welcome to Georgia! National Tourism Awards with co-organized by the Bank of Georgia for the fourth year.

At the awards ceremony, 26 winners from more than 380 representatives from the tourism and hospitality industry will be announced in the same number of different nominations, including new nominations: “The Best Airline Company", “The Best Traditional Craft", “The Best Niche Tourism", “The Best Rural Tourism", “The Best Small Winery”,“The Best Responsible Tourism”, “H2O Water Saving Award ”- in frames of cooperation with UNDP and a special prize - “Khetsuriani Trophy”.

This year's ceremony format will be quite different from the previous years, as the organizers plan to make a real anniversary party for each guest, with a Gala Evening, interactive program and many other surprises.

The event will host up to 700 guests, including government officials, the business sector and international and local media.

Welcome to Georgia! National Tourism Awards is an annual awards ceremony held in Georgia since 2015 and has successfully established itself as a credible, unique platform that contributes significantly to the development of the Georgian tourism and hospitality industry, with a growing number of nominees and winners each year.

The project has been co-organized by the National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and supported by the Tbilisi City Hall for the fifth year already.
