Ukrainian Lowcoster Bees Airline Enters the Georgian Aviation Market from April
The new Ukrainian low-cost airline Bees Airline plans to operate in the direction of Georgia during the summer navigation season.
As Yevgeny Khainatsky, CEO of Bees Airline, told AviaNews, the airline will launch regular Kiev-Tbilisi-Kiev flights from the end of April and will soon add Kiev-Batumi-Kiev flights.
The airline plans to operate regular flights to Georgia. The first flights will be from Kiev to Tbilisi in the second half of April.
In the summer we have regular flights from Kiev to Tbilisi and Batumi, we will also consider flights from Odessa.
We will probably visit other cities as well, although the volume will depend on what regulations will exist when crossing the border.
Each additional PCR test, or quarantine restriction, reduces passenger flow. The easier it is for people to fly, the greater the demand.
Our main advantage is that the flight is operated from Kiev Sikorsky International Airport. The airport is located in the city and the center can be reached in 15 minutes. We will use the Low-cost model when selling tickets, so the prices will be quite competitive.
The age of our aircraft is 10 years, the Boeing 737-800 is designed for 189 seats.
Only in the case of a large capacity will it be possible to reduce the cost of the seat and use the lowcoster model, which we are implementing," said Yevgeny Khainatsky.
