Tourist Trail Leading to Khikhani Fortress to be Arranged

In order to facilitate the climbing of the tourist trail, the National Hiking Federation, by the order of the Tourism Products Development Agency of the Department of Tourism of Adjara, is expanding the access to the Khikhani Fortress, installing railings and arranging stairs.

In addition, it is planned to place motivational signs, arrange infrastructure and mark the tourist trail.

At this stage, the fortress is undergoing research by geologists and topographers.

According to the results of the engineering-geological survey, the sketch project of the infrastructure to be arranged on the way to the fortress and its expenditure document will be prepared before August 1, after which the construction works will start.
