The First Tea House 'Chaibude' Opens in Mestia

At the end of December, the Chaibude tea house opens in Mestia. As its founder Tatia Tetrashvili explains, the vintage design cafe, which is new for Mestia with its concept, will be able to receive 25 guests at the same time.

"We are opening a tea house in the center of Mestia, where there will be mainly an assortment of teas, hot chocolate, coffee and sweets. As for the design, we have chosen more vintage style and Georgian elements.

A cafe with a similar concept is new for Mestia, so we expect a lot of interest, we can accommodate 25 guests at the same time, and to tell the truth, like other spaces in Mestia, our cafe is mainly focused on tourists, however, we think that the cozy environment and discounted prices should be interesting for locals as well. With us, the price of coffee starts from 5 GEL, and sweets from 3-4 GEL,'' Tatia Tetrashvili said at Bm.ge.

According to her, the main challenge in the process of launching the tea house was the lack of local staff, "It is very difficult to find staff here, we currently employ 4 people, although we may need additional staff. School-age children are also active in some positions, and this is the solution."

Tatia Tetrashvili tells Bm.ge that she created "Chaibude" completely with personal investment - she rented a space where there was already some inventory, and to arrange the interior according to her own taste, she invested 30,000 GEL.
