The First 5-Star Hotel Opened in Gori

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili took part in the opening of 5-star hotel "Gori Inn" in Gori.

Mikheil Shakulashvili, State Trustee of Shida Kartli, Mayor of Gori Municipality Vladimir Khinchegashvili, Director of "Produce in Georgia" Agency Mikheil Khidureli and Head of National Tourism Administration Maya Omiadze were also present at the opening event.

"Gori Inn" hotel benefits from the hotel industry development component of the "Produce in Georgia" agency.

With the support of the "Produce in Georgia" program, we opened a 120-room hotel in Gori, which will contribute to the development of the region's tourism industry and strengthening of the economy. Each such modern standard facility is an additional opportunity for both local and international visitors to travel to another region of Georgia and discover new historical sites. Such a high-class hotel will also contribute to the increase in visitor spending and overnight stays, which will have a positive impact on the dynamics of the tourism sector. In addition, it should be noted that the hotel employs 100 local people, which will strengthen the economy of our country", Mariam Kvrivishvili noted.

"Gori Inn" is a chain of the hotel management company Inn Group. More than 20 million GEL was invested in the construction of the hotel.

"Inn Group" was established in 2015 and today it includes 10 companies, including hotels in Bakuriani, Gudauri and Kutaisi, as well as the enterprise "Alutech Georgia" and the construction company "Inn Development".
